Entre a las 9:00 am, los recogeremos en su hotel de Putre para desplazarnos hacia el entorno de Chapiquiña y Juntuma: una de las zonas más asombrosas de la precordillera andina, en pleno altiplano chileno.
First, we will visit the village of Socoroma, known for its picturesque Church of Saint Francis of Assisi. The next stop will be Zapahuira, where we’ll see the tambos and other Inca archaeological remains found in this area, which is renowned for its rich historical heritage.
The route will continue to the village of Belén, which is home to two important churches. These are the Churches of Our Lady of Carmen and Our Lady of Belén: two extraordinary examples of religious architecture in the Chilean Altiplano. Afterward, we will take a break to enjoy a box lunch.
After lunch, we’ll continue exploring other beautiful natural areas around Chapiquiña. Along the way, we may even spot some Andean wildlife, such as llamas, alpacas, or vicuñas. The final stop, at an altitude of 3,800 meters (12,467 feet), will be at the Juntuma Hot Springs.
Las piscinas naturales de Juntuma están situadas en una quebrada de difícil acceso, a la que accederemos primero con el vehículo para continuar después a pie. Tras deleitarnos con sus paisajes regresaremos finalmente a vuestro hotel de Putre, donde llegaremos entre las 16:00 y las 17:00 horas aproximadamente.
