Day 1\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 8:00 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arica. Our first stop is the Azapa Valley, known for its rich historical and cultural heritage.\n\nWe will visit the San Miguel de Azapa Museum, where we will explore exhibits about the ancient cultures of the region, including the enigmatic Chinchorro mummies and other pre-Columbian artifacts.\n\nNext, we will continue to the Lluta Valley, a place famous for its scenic beauty. Here, we will visit the Poconchile Church, a notable colonial building from the 17th century. The church, set in an impressive natural environment, offers a window into the history and religious art of the region.\n\nThen, we will head to the Quebrada de Cardones National Monument, home to the Magnetic Zone and the imposing Candelabra Cacti. This site offers a unique landscape, with geological formations and vegetation creating a fascinating environment. The magnetic zone is known for its curious effects on compasses, adding a touch of mystery to the visit.\n\nOur journey continues to the picturesque town of Malku, where you can experience rural life on the high plateau. Malku offers an immersion into the traditional Andean atmosphere, providing an authentic glimpse of life in this remote region.\n\nWe will visit the Pukara de Copaquilla, an important pre-Inca archaeological site. This ancient settlement is known for its architectural remains and historical significance in the region\u2019s culture.\n\nNext, we will head to the Zapahuira Tambo, an ancient Inca lodge that served as a resting and supply point for travelers along the Inca Trail.\n\nOur last stop is the charming town of Socoroma, famous for its beauty and rich cultural heritage. Here, we will explore a section of the Inca Trail, offering insight into the history and cultural connection of the region.\n\nWe will conclude our tour with arrival in Putre.<\/p>\n

Day 2 <\/strong><\/p>\n

We will begin our day with a trek in Las Cuevas, a trail that will take you through unique rock formations and stunning mountain landscapes. During the hike, you will appreciate the flora and fauna adapted to the high plateau and enjoy panoramic views of the natural surroundings.\n\nAfter the trek, we will head to the Chucuyo lookout, a vantage point with spectacular views of Lake Chungar\u00e1 and its surroundings. From here, you can admire the majesty of the lake and the mountainous landscape that surrounds it, offering excellent photo opportunities.\n\nNext, we will visit the Cotacotani Lagoons, a series of lagoons located in a spectacular natural setting.\n\nThen, we will go to the village of Parinacota, a charming settlement with a rich cultural history. Here, we will explore the Parinacota church, an important colonial building that reflects the architecture and cultural heritage of the Andean region.\n\nOur last stop before returning to Putre will be the Parinacota bofedal, a wetland ecosystem crucial for the biodiversity of the high plateau.\n\nFinally, we will return to Putre, where the day will conclude.<\/p>\n

Day 3 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Our next stop is the Las Vicu\u00f1as National Reserve, a protected area dedicated to the conservation of the vicu\u00f1a, an emblematic species of the high plateau. We will explore various sectors of the reserve.\n\nWe\u2019ll start at Misituni, known for its spectacular natural surroundings and the opportunity to observe vicu\u00f1as in their natural habitat.\n\nNext, we\u2019ll continue to Chua, an ideal lookout point to appreciate the landscape and local wildlife.\n\nThen, we\u2019ll head to Lauca Cruzani, where you can enjoy panoramic views and the diversity of flora and fauna.\n\nFinally, we will visit Visluvio, an area of great scenic beauty that offers a comprehensive view of the reserve\u2019s ecosystem.\n\nSurire Salt Flat National Monument:\n\nNext, we will go to the Surire Salt Flat National Monument, a region famous for its natural and geological beauty. Here, we will explore the Chinchillani area, where you can observe flamingos and other birds that inhabit the salt flats.\n\nWe\u2019ll move on to Chilcaya, a place known for its stunning landscapes and natural environment.\n\nWe will conclude our exploration at the Polloquere Hot Springs, thermal waters located in a spectacular setting, ideal for relaxing while enjoying views of the Andes.\n\nWe will continue to Isluga National Park, a protected area that offers diverse landscapes and rich biodiversity.\n\nWe will visit Enquelga, a charming settlement that reflects traditional Andean life and local culture.\n\nFinally, we will head to Colchane, a picturesque town located near the border with Bolivia. Colchane offers an authentic glimpse of life on the high plateau and is a perfect place to conclude our tour.<\/p>\n

Day 4<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 8:00 AM, we depart from the rural lodging heading to Ancovinto, known for its giant cacti that adorn the landscape with their impressive shapes. Here, we will also explore the Coipasa Salt Flat, a vast salt expanse offering panoramic views and a stunning environment.\n\nNext, we will head to Cariquima, a charming town with a rich cultural and architectural heritage. In Cariquima, we will visit:\n\nA historic church with traditional architecture reflecting colonial influence and local culture.\n\nThe Cariquima Community Museum, a small but informative museum offering insight into local life, traditions, and the area's history.\n\nOur route will continue to the Tarapac\u00e1 Gorge, where we will explore two main points:\n\nPachica: An area known for its scenic beauty and cultural importance.\n\nTarapac\u00e1: A picturesque town with a rich history and natural surroundings.\n\nWe will visit the Tarapac\u00e1 Giant, an impressive pre-Inca anthropomorphic figure measuring 119 meters long, etched into the flank of Unit Hill. This ancient geoglyph offers a fascinating perspective on the pre-Columbian cultures of the region.\n\nNext, we will head to Huara, a small but significant desert town. Huara is known for its welcoming atmosphere and historical relevance in the region.\n\nOur next stop is Humberstone, a historic nitrate mining office declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we will explore the ruins of this former mining town, offering insight into desert life during the nitrate mining era.\n\nFinally, we will conclude our tour in Iquique.<\/p>\n
