We will start this northern experience from your accommodation when we pick you up to begin the journey by vehicle from Arica. The first stop on the Intervalles Archaeological Tour will be Sombrero Hill, where we will begin the experience of seeing the geoglyphs of the northern desert. We will see the Great Llama, Trompilla, and Sacred Hill.<\/p>\n
Next, we will travel to the Azapa Valley, a place known for olive cultivation and the production of various olive-based products. We will also visit the Poconchile Church, dating back to 1605, before continuing to the giant geoglyphs of Lluta and the Huaylacan colcas, underground stone-walled storage pits where indigenous people preserved their food during pre-Hispanic times.<\/p>\n
Finally, we will visit the Lluta River wetland, the main coastal wetland in northern Chile, home to various bird species that migrate along the Pacific Ocean coast. After this natural spectacle, we will return to the city of Arica, where the tour will end.<\/p>\n
